Adelaide Botanic High School, one of Adelaide’s newest high schools, needed a modern way to digitise administration as it grew from an initial cohort of around 350 students toward a capacity of 1,250. The school wanted to support its “paperlite” philosophy and set a 100% digital communication expectation for families from the start, so it chose EdSmart as its School Organisation System (SOS).

EdSmart implemented its Parent Slips and Broadcast modules, along with templates and onboarding support, to help the school run administrative processes more efficiently. The results were strong: Adelaide Botanic High School achieved an average 95.4% return rate across 3,000 slips in its first fortnight of use, with the school reporting over 90% returns on the first slips sent and improved engagement from parents and students.
