Case Study: The Arbor School of Central Florida achieves stronger teacher collaboration, increased student independence and parent engagement with Edsby

SPECIAL NEEDS LEARNING AND EDSBY

The Arbor School of Central Florida, a varied-exceptionalities school providing both academics and therapy, needed a way to coordinate teachers, therapists, administrators and parents while also promoting student independence. To meet that challenge they adopted Edsby's learning and analytics platform for K–12 (used at Arbor as Twine, the pairing of Edsby and an open-source SIS from Aptiris).

Edsby centralized student profiles, streamlined classroom management and enabled daily collaboration across staff, while giving parents immediate access to grades and progress and encouraging students to manage assignments online. As a result, The Arbor School reports a significant increase in students accessing the online community, stronger teacher–parent communication, and more efficient cross-staff coordination thanks to Edsby.
