Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board needed a better way to replace the mix of teacher-used social media apps and dated tools that had grown across the district. It wanted a private, mobile-friendly teacher/parent/student portal that connected with existing IT systems, supported assessment and reporting, and gave staff secure access to student and parent information from the district’s student information system.

The district selected Edsby after reviewing vendor proposals and testing it with four schools. Edsby was rolled out district-wide and became a central platform for communication, collaboration, and cloud service integration, with access for students, parents, teachers, and administrators anytime and anywhere. KPR says Edsby is now the core of its cloud strategy, has helped create more consistent parent communication, and has been well supported by the Edsby team.
