The Town of Indian Trail, a municipality in North Carolina, faced a challenge at the start of the pandemic: their on-premise software did not allow staff to work remotely, which was critical for safety. Having been a customer since 2011, they turned to their vendor, Edmunds GovTech, to find a solution after previously experiencing a lack of support from another provider.

Edmunds GovTech implemented a hosted server solution for the town, which provided seamless remote access to their software modules. This allowed Indian Trail's staff to work from home with the same full functionality as in the office. The result was a successful transition to a hybrid work model throughout the pandemic with no drop in efficiency, giving staff peace of mind.
