RTI Tools to Inspire Teachers and Increase Student Learning

Edmentum’s EducationCity was adopted by East Fannin Elementary School (Morganton, GA; K–5, ~400 students) to provide a daily, differentiated response-to-intervention (RTI) tool that could meet varied student needs and support targeted remediation, practice, and enrichment across grades.

Teachers and the academic coach used EducationCity’s engaging activities and the MyCity prescription feature to assign individualized lessons, monitor progress, and present data at RTI meetings. In one year the school saw a roughly 10% increase in overall student performance, with notable math gains: third grade rose from 77% to 93% meeting/exceeding state standards, fourth grade from 68% to 82%, and schoolwide math from 65% to 85%—helping the school meet AYP and boosting student confidence and teacher satisfaction.
