AMP Creative, a corporate learning and communications agency, faced the challenge of migrating its production workflows to the cloud to enable remote work during the COVID-19 pandemic. They needed to maintain their proven editorial processes and storage management while moving away from their on-premise server room. They turned to their existing vendor, EditShare, for a solution.

EditShare implemented its FLEX cloud solution, which provided a cloud-native version of the EFS storage and FLOW media management AMP was already familiar with. The solution supported a hybrid workflow using proxy editing on local workstations and high-resolution conforming in the AWS cloud. The result was a seamless transition for editors and a complete shutdown of their physical server room, leading to significant savings on equipment, maintenance, and real estate.
