PERU LNG, a subsidiary of Hunt Oil, wanted to strengthen employee-driven innovation and create a more structured way to capture ideas across the business. After moving to Microsoft 365 and shifting to remote working, the company needed an innovation management tool that would integrate with its existing digital environment and make it easier for employees to submit, track, and discuss ideas. Using edison365ideas, edison365 helped PERU LNG launch its InnLab to standardize both top-down and bottom-up innovation across the organization. The platform quickly gained traction, with over half of users attending training and 86 ideas under review or being implemented within the first month. Employees used the tool to turn a costly Smart Helmet proposal into a simpler solution using existing tablets and Microsoft Teams, avoiding a six-figure business case, while also generating ideas for remote engagement and ongoing cultural initiatives.
