Case Study: Sertrans automates EDIFACT order processing and reduces errors with EdiFabric

Sertrans - Customer Case Study

Sertrans Catalunya, S.A. (Sertrans), a family-owned transport and logistics company operating across Europe with a fleet of over 500 trucks, needed to exchange EDIFACT messages with trading partners and convert them into structured data for their in‑house .NET applications. To solve this they evaluated and selected EdiFabric—specifically EdiFabric EDI Tools (EdiFabric Framework)—as a simple-to-integrate EDI library.

EdiFabric was implemented in a few days to automate EDIFACT-to-structured-data conversion and feed orders directly into Sertrans’ ERP, replacing a manual minute-per-order CSV process. Using EdiFabric, Sertrans sped up order processing, reduced errors, freed two staff from repetitive tasks, and improved overall quality and competitiveness.
