Lang Son City sought to modernize and scale its municipal IT and network infrastructure to improve service efficiency and citizen satisfaction while meeting strict requirements for high-speed switching, backbone compatibility, security, ease of management, and scalability. To achieve this, Lang Son City deployed Edgecore Networks L3/L2+ enterprise switches — including the ECS4620, ECS4120 and ECS2020 series — through local partners to provide a converged, cost-effective network platform.

Edgecore Networks’ solution used a core–aggregation–access topology (ECS4620 at core, ECS4120 in aggregation, ECS2020 at access) with 1–10 Gb backbone support, 24–48 Gigabit ports, 2–4 SFP ports and 10G uplinks, plus web UI/CLI management, advanced security, IPv6 and QoS. The deployment delivered measurable improvements in work efficiency, reliable inter-department connectivity and data sharing across city departments, and reduced deployment and maintenance time and costs while giving Lang Son City flexible, high-performance network capacity.
