Edgecore Easy to Use and Managed Wi-Fi Solution for Hotel Guests

Parkview Hotel, a five‑star resort in Hualien, Taiwan, faced rising BYOD demand and guest complaints because legacy “fat” APs mounted in corridor ceilings produced unstable Wi‑Fi and were hard for IT staff to manage. To address this, Parkview engaged Edgecore Networks and adopted the SunSpot AC Wave2 access points together with the ecCLOUD cloud controller.

Edgecore Networks deployed PoE‑capable SunSpot AC Wave2 APs and used ecCLOUD for centralized visibility and control, with engineers testing AP placement room‑by‑room to eliminate dead spots.
