Digital media provider targets payment strategy and dominates remote payment runs with CSI Paysystems

Goodway Group, a programmatic digital media provider with more than 400 remote employees across 40 states, faced a payments challenge: many vendors still expected paper checks, tax payments and signature requirements complicated remote payment runs, and AP was stuck in transactional work instead of analysis. To modernize payables and support vendor adoption of electronic payments, Goodway turned to Edenred Pay and its payment platform (virtual cards, ghost cards, corporate purchasing cards, ACH and check services).

Edenred Pay implemented a full-service payment solution—adding features to insert documents into checks and expedite FedExed checks—streamlining file upload, reconciliation, and ghost-card controls. The result: payment runs now take less than an hour (vs. an AP employee spending 15–20% of their week printing checks), reconciliations are largely automated, bank fees have fallen, virtual-card rebates offset program costs, and electronic payments rose from under 10% to about 70% of dollars processed; planned API integration is expected to save an additional 2–3 AP hours per day.
