Portland Country Club, a private golf and social club in Falmouth, Maine, was frustrated by slow USPS delivery, lost checks and rising check-fraud risk while relying on manual paper-check payments. To modernize payables and avoid late or lost payments, the Club adopted Edenred Pay’s accounts payable automation and virtual card payment solution.

Edenred Pay integrated its virtual card platform with the Club’s ClubSelect system, managed vendor enrollment and streamlined implementation, enabling Portland Country Club to convert 71% of vendor payments to virtual cards. The change reduced printing, postage and labor, improved payment speed and security, and generated $38,674 in rebates since June 2016.
