Cambro Manufacturing implements electronic payments solution to increase efficiency and accelerate vendor payment times

Cambro Manufacturing Co., a Huntington Beach–based manufacturer processing about 1,000 invoices per week with a two-person AP team, faced costly, time-consuming daily check runs and limited electronic payment capability. To automate payables and accelerate vendor payments, Cambro engaged Edenred Pay, using the VPAYO electronic payments platform, to enable ACH and virtual card payments and reduce manual check handling.

Edenred Pay implemented VPAYO to convert vendors to ACH and virtual cards, automate payment flows, and streamline check printing and mailing through the bank. As a result, Cambro converted 14% of active vendors to ACH and 22% to virtual cards (earning rebates), cut lost-in-mail payments, accelerated payment times, and saved roughly 2.5 hours per week—delivering clear time and cost efficiencies.
