BFC Solutions simplifies travel program with virtual cards

BFC Solutions, the largest preventative maintenance provider for commercial HVAC in the U.S. with nearly 500 employees and service at over 150,000 sites, faced unpredictable last‑minute travel bookings and repeated payment failures: prepaid cards ran out, direct bills were mistimed, credit cards hit limits, and a single payment method for 250–350 warehouses left them exposed. To address these issues they adopted a one‑time use virtual card solution from Edenred Pay to simplify and secure travel payments.

Edenred Pay’s virtual cards were integrated with BFC’s new travel stack (including their TMC and booking tool), creating an automatic single‑use card for each reservation and adding unique identifiers for reconciliation. As a result, BFC eliminated warehouse payment exposure and cut travel payment processing time from four days to one, enabled traveler self‑booking within policy, and achieved clear, line‑by‑line reconciliation for faster, more accurate reporting.
