Case Study: Air Culinaire Worldwide eliminates recurring credit card fraud and increases staff productivity with Edenred Pay

A Edenred Pay Case Study

Preview of the Air Culinaire Worldwide Case Study

Air Culinaire Worldwide partners with CSI to eliminate reoccurring credit card fraud and increase productivity of staff

Air Culinaire Worldwide, a global private-jet catering and concierge provider, was plagued by recurring credit-card fraud, duplicate vendor charges and time-consuming reconciliation—at one point roughly 50% of cards were being cancelled each month. To regain control and secure vendor payments, Air Culinaire partnered with Edenred Pay to deploy a virtual-card payment solution (CSI Paysystems) that replaces shared plastic-card details with single-use virtual cards.

Edenred Pay integrated its virtual-card platform with Air Culinaire’s accounts-payable workflow so a daily smart list is uploaded, a payment batch approved, and virtual cards are generated and sent to vendors (typically within 30 minutes). The result: fraud and duplicate-charge headaches were eliminated, reconciliation time dropped substantially, tasks like calling banks and reissuing cards disappeared, and the company freed up a full-time employee to focus on other work.
