The Latest Prestige Amenity Employee Health at The Connell Company

The Connell Company, a commercial real estate developer behind The Park at Berkeley Heights in New Jersey, wanted to make its renovated 185-acre campus more attractive to tenants and employees in a post-pandemic workplace. To support that goal, Connell partnered with Eden Health to add a full-spectrum onsite medical clinic as a new employee health amenity.

Eden Health installed a white-glove, full-service clinic with same-day doctor appointments, mental health care, insurance support, and mobile app access for care and COVID-19 monitoring. The clinic was built in about 90 days in a 1,000-square-foot space, helped transform an otherwise vacant area, and strengthened leasing efforts by creating a major differentiator for tenants. Connell also reports that its best-in-class amenities, including Eden Health, help command a 15% market rent premium versus nearby buildings.
