Improving Girls’ Access to Education, One DfG Kit at a Time

Days for Girls is a global nonprofit that manufactures and distributes reusable DfG Kits and delivers menstrual health education to keep girls in school. As the organization scaled to 900+ Chapters, 50,000 volunteers and enterprise programs across 100+ countries, it faced challenges in fundraising, selling branded items made by local enterprises, coordinating kit supply orders for volunteer teams, and managing complex global shipping. To bridge its e-commerce and wholesale needs, Days for Girls added an Ecwid store to its Wix website.

Ecwid provided an integrated online storefront and private wholesale portal on DaysforGirls.org, enabling retail sales of branded goods (made by women in Uganda and Ghana), streamlined wholesale ordering for Chapters, and flexible global shipping options that reduced costly miscalculations. The result: Days for Girls has continued to scale its impact—over 640,000 women and girls served in 100+ countries—and sales through the online store have almost doubled since the site revamp with Ecwid, increasing revenue available for the mission.
