A Ecwid Case Study

Preview of the EUNOIA Case Study

How a Teenage Entrepreneur Created a Business that Makes a Difference

EUNOIA, a social enterprise founded by teenager Aarushi Gupta, sought to create a business that would support local Indian artisans and microentrepreneurs by providing them with access to affordable loans. The challenge was to find an affordable and simple ecommerce platform that would allow her to manage the entire online store herself and sell across India.

Using the Ecwid ecommerce platform, Aarushi built her own online store to sell hand-painted bags. Ecwid provided a straightforward setup and simple integration with Indian payment and shipping providers. This solution enabled EUNOIA to source products at higher rates for the artisans and then use the profits to provide zero-interest loans through a partner organization. Through Ecwid, Aarushi successfully managed all operations and marketing, generating profits that were directly donated to support microentrepreneurs.
