Behavioral Science Technology faced fragmented contract processes across its legal teams—relying on spreadsheets and email, lacking a central repository and visibility into renewals, obligations and past terms. To address this, Behavioral Science Technology selected Ecteon and its Contraxx contract lifecycle management solution to provide a configurable, workflow-aligned platform for creating, storing and managing agreements.
Ecteon configured and deployed Contraxx (including on-site guidance and training) in a four-month rollout, linking request workflows, templates and a centralized contract repository used by about six staff. The result: faster, more transparent contract handling—with 36% more requests closed in 2016 versus 2009 and average request close time reduced from five to three days—improved communication and client service, and a model now being shared with affiliate companies.
