American Water Enterprises’ Military Services Group faced the challenge of managing complex Federal prime contracts and numerous buyer/seller subcontracts across multiple departments while meeting government procurement and compliance requirements. To centralize contract data, improve reporting and audit readiness, and automate contract compliance and notifications, they engaged Ecteon to deploy its Contraxx contract lifecycle management solution.
Ecteon implemented Contraxx as a CLM solution that consolidated a central, secure repository, populated existing data from up to 3 Prime contracts and 35 subcontracts, and automated workflows, notifications (dashboards, batch reports, email) and subcontract generation using Legal-approved templates. The Ecteon deployment standardized procurement processing, reduced compliance risk, and instituted conditional workflows across Legal, Finance, Growth, Capital, Federal Contracts and executive review, delivering faster visibility and stronger control over contract obligations.
