Financeware, Inc. d/b/a Wealthcare Capital Management is a U.S.-based financial services firm that generates PDF reports for advisors and clients and needed higher standards of professionalism and print-quality than their prior HTML-based generator could deliver. The company sought a real page description language with support for high-quality graphics, font embedding, repeatable headers/footers, and robust page-break controls, and selected Ecrion’s XF Rendering Server (with XF Designer and XCharts) to meet those requirements.

Ecrion implemented XF Rendering Server plus add-ons (XF Designer and XCharts), enabling true XSL-FO rendering, SVG-based charts, HTML and image output for web sections and thumbnails, and faster PDF generation even for reports well over 200 pages. The result was markedly improved print and on-screen quality—scalable graphics and embedded fonts, reliable headers/footers and page-break control—reduced development time using XF Designer, and performance that ultimately beat competing generators, delivering a higher-quality, more reliable report generation process for Financeware.
