Cedar Springs Technologies, Inc., a U.S.-based provider of custom application design and development services, needed a better output engine for a risk‑assessment system used by property inspection firms. The system had to collect onsite data and produce electronic inspection reports in PDF and MS Word/DocX formats, but their prior vendor (PlanetPress) couldn’t produce DocX. Cedar Springs selected Ecrion to solve that specific output and formatting challenge.

Ecrion’s software, which accepts XML input and uses an XSL‑FO approach, enabled Cedar Springs to produce DocX and PDF/Word inspection reports and to leverage richer formatting and tooling than before. Working with Ecrion also delivered strong technical support and faster issue resolution, allowing Cedar Springs to offer improved client solutions and more efficient report generation—outcomes Cedar Springs attributes directly to Ecrion.
