Barrington Community Unit School District 220, a high-performing district serving approximately 8,600 students, faced the challenge of not having a measurement system to understand the social and emotional learning (SEL) needs of individual students. This resulted in an incomplete portrait of each student, making it difficult to personalize learning and address needs holistically.
