CHEP Canada, a division of Brambles in the transportation and logistics industry, partnered with the vendor EcoVadis to meet customer requests for a verified sustainability rating and to validate its position as a credible, sustainable partner. The challenge was to formally assess, measure, and communicate its sustainability performance across environmental, social, and ethical practices.

Using the EcoVadis platform and its premium subscription service, the company received an evidence-based rating that served as a framework for continuous improvement. The solution implemented by EcoVadis enabled CHEP Canada to track its progress, resulting in an improved score from 68 to 80 and the achievement of four consecutive platinum medals. This measurable impact enhanced the company's credibility with customers and stakeholders, supported its net-zero emissions targets, and helped it be recognized as a five-time EcoVadis Best Performer award winner.
