A Ecovadis Case Study
Tessy Plastics, a global contract manufacturer, was challenged when a primary customer, Johnson & Johnson, requested more visibility into its risk management systems. Its initial EcoVadis assessment revealed it was performing significantly below industry targets, which motivated the company to begin a sustainability transformation using the EcoVadis platform and its insights.
The solution from EcoVadis provided a guided path, including a meaningful Corrective Action Plan and collaborative performance tools. Tessy Plastics improved its EcoVadis rating to Silver, ranking in the top 20% of companies, and achieved tremendous results. These include diverting 89.2% of waste to recycling, sourcing 24% of its electricity from renewable sources, and being recognized as a top Supplier Engagement Leader by CDP.
