CBC's 15-Year Journey with EcoVadis Advancing Sustainability for Both the Company and Community

CBC Co, a Japanese importer and manufacturer of chemical and industrial products, was an early adopter of sustainability principles but faced a challenge when international clients began requesting formal assessments from EcoVadis. Lacking a dedicated sustainability department, their legal team initially struggled to compile the necessary documentation to prove their practices, as much of their evidence was internal and not in a format recognized by the assessment.

By working with EcoVadis and receiving guidance from an experienced customer, CBC Co systematized its evidence collection and improved its reporting. As a result of implementing the EcoVadis solution, the company earned a Silver Medal rating in 2020 and has continued to achieve medaled scores.
