United Utilities in Northwest England needed to bring all project management practices in-house as part of a major business process and technology change, covering investment, program, project, and contract management. EcoSys Management supported the effort through the implementation of the complete Primavera Enterprise suite, along with integrations to SAP and the Ellipse Asset Management System.

EcoSys Management later implemented EcoSys Financial Manager to help United Utilities manage project and regulatory budgets, cost forecasts, and SAP actuals in one system. The result was that United Utilities could manage all capital projects in Primavera and plan for up to $5.5B in projects during the asset management period, while also replacing difficult-to-maintain custom offshore code with a more sustainable solution.
