AREVA Inc. Improves Project Certainty with EVM Standardization Initiative

AREVA, the global leader in nuclear energy and a major player in renewable energies, needed a more consistent way to manage project certainty across a growing portfolio of large, complex projects. To support its Earned Value Management (EVM) standards and reduce reliance on spreadsheets and manual reporting, AREVA worked with EcoSys Management and its EcoSys EPC platform to create a single, scalable system for project controls.

EcoSys Management implemented EcoSys EPC for estimation and bid pricing, contract work authorization, performance management, and baseline change management, with integrations to SAP and Primavera P6. As a result, AREVA standardized advanced EVM practices across more projects, improved data visibility and project management maturity, and saved analysts significant time through automation so they could focus on forecasting and performance analysis.
