Case Study: JLL improves lone worker safety with EcoOnline

JLL, a global corporate solutions, property management, and real estate company with more than 80,000 employees, needed a better way to protect lone workers—especially mobile technicians carrying out roof work and other tasks while working alone and at height. JLL chose EcoOnline’s lone worker app, powered by StaySafe, to strengthen its health and safety approach with an easy-to-use, app-based solution that could quickly alert managers in an emergency.

EcoOnline implemented the lone worker app with man down and panic alert features, allowing technicians to check in safely, be located if they missed a check-in, and request help immediately if needed. The rollout was quick and well received, with JLL reporting that the app integrated smoothly into the business and gave staff peace of mind. JLL has also established a global agreement to roll out StaySafe to 5,000 users across North America, followed by EMEA and APAC.
