San Francisco, CA engaged Econolite to manage and maintain equipment at seven toll bridge facilities and on bridge approaches across the Bay Area. The challenge was keeping a wide range of systems—changeable message signs, fire suppression, roadside and barrier-mounted signs, indicator lights, mechanical gates, HVAC, generators, servers/IT, and surveillance cameras—reliable across multiple sites while conducting routine plaza surveys, inspections and on-call repairs.

Econolite implemented ongoing on-call maintenance and inspections, performed a System Assessment that identified equipment in disrepair, and delivered a baseline report, transfer report and a five-year upgrade plan. Econolite also deployed its teamEpro maintenance management system so BATA can track inventory, preventative and remedial maintenance and repairs, yielding clearer asset visibility, prioritized upgrade projects and more consistent upkeep across the seven facilities.
