Centracs MMS is Used for a Midtown Traffic Operations Program to Track All Inventory, and Record Maintenance, Repairs, and Preventative Maintenance Activities

Atlanta, GA faced the challenge of managing operations and maintenance for the Midtown Traffic Operations Program (MTOP), a cluster of approximately 100 intersections within the Atlanta metropolitan area, under Georgia Department of Transportation outsourcing arrangements. Jacobs Engineering selected Econolite to provide the Centracs Maintenance Management System (Centracs MMS) to address the need for centralized inventory tracking and consistent maintenance records.

Econolite deployed Centracs MMS and trained Jacobs, subconsultant, City, and GDOT maintenance personnel to use the system. The solution enabled tracking of all inventory and the recording of maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance activities across the MTOP network of roughly 100 intersections, delivering centralized recordkeeping and improved operational oversight thanks to Econolite’s implementation and training.
