Preview of the Seine-et-Yvelines Numérique Case Study

Seine-et-Yvelines Numérique distributes 9,000 iPads with Econocom

The customer, Seine-et-Yvelines Numérique, a public firm supporting local authorities in France, faced the challenge of ensuring uninterrupted education during the pandemic and rolling out a long-term digital learning scheme for schools. To address this, they partnered with vendor Econocom, the leading Apple partner in education, to provide iPads as part of their digital school bag initiative.

Econocom implemented a solution by distributing thousands of iPads to primary and secondary schools in the Yvelines and Hauts-de-Seine departments. The results were significant, with Econocom distributing over 12,000 iPads to 17 secondary schools, 7,500 to primary schools, and 5,500 for mobile classes. This rollout, including an initial batch of 9,000 devices for the 2022 school year, personalizes learning and prepares pupils for future careers.
