Ecometrica and Cool Earth set textile manufacturers Pratibha Syntex on the path towards carbon neutrality

Pratibha Syntex, a major vertically integrated knitwear manufacturer supplying global brands, was aiming for full carbon neutrality and needed a credible, auditable way to measure and report its supply‑chain emissions. To move beyond spreadsheets and meet stakeholder expectations, Pratibha engaged Ecometrica (working with Cool Earth) to implement the Our Impacts GHG accounting platform.

Ecometrica and Cool Earth customised Our Impacts to deliver factory‑level accounting for three Pithampur units and, uniquely, the company’s first farm‑level carbon footprint using India‑specific emission factors. The project established formal annual tCO2e accounting, provided reliable data for CSR and client disclosure, and identified energy and process efficiency opportunities — giving Pratibha transparent supply‑chain emission profiles and a clear path toward carbon neutrality.
