Kinetic Software, a global provider of software for universities, faced the challenge of starting its climate journey with financial constraints. They had pledged to reduce their emissions but found the cost of funding carbon avoidance for their UK employees to be a significant and complex investment. They partnered with vendor Ecologi to help make this process affordable and transparent.

Ecologi provided a solution that included carbon avoidance credits and tree planting, allowing Kinetic to mitigate emissions from events and create a Climate Action Workforce for employees. As a result, Kinetic has funded 1,380 trees, avoided 230 tonnes of CO2e, and improved its ability to attract talent. Ecologi's platform provided the transparent and measurable impact that is central to Kinetic's ongoing sustainability communications.
