rabbittransit, the York, PA transit provider, faced fragmented service delivery, scalability challenges as it expanded into ten counties, and the unique operational demands of rural trips (long distances, increased ride times) while needing to maintain efficiency, profitability, and customer service. To address this, rabbittransit selected Ecolane and its DRT Coordinated Transit Software System, including Ecolane scheduling & dispatch, Touch Screen MDTs, Deviated Route software, EcoWeb self-service scheduling, IVR, and advanced reporting.

Ecolane implemented automated scheduling, continuous optimization, web-based dispatch, MDTs and robust reporting, giving dispatchers real-time visibility and tools to improve operations. The results: a 16% jump in on-time performance (82% to 95%), delivery of 2.5 RPH against a 2.25 goal, over $1 million saved, 94% customer satisfaction and 82% positive customer perception — all achieved with Ecolane’s platform.
