ClasTran, Central Alabama’s specialized transit provider with 48 vehicles, was hampered by an antiquated legacy system that required manual scheduling and paper manifests, took more than three hours a day to pull client data, lacked real‑time GPS and On‑Time Performance (OTP) reporting, and needed broad data and geo‑code cleanup. To modernize operations they turned to Ecolane for a cloud‑hosted scheduling and dispatch solution.

Ecolane implemented an AWS‑hosted, web‑enabled dispatch and scheduling platform with real‑time GPS, automated batch scheduling, simplified geo‑coding training, and fast ridership reporting—reducing report runtimes from hours to minutes and enabling vendor accountability and a formal no‑show policy.
