Bis-Man Transit needed to boost productivity, reduce costs, improve on-time performance, and gain sophisticated ad-hoc reporting plus real-time GPS and dashboard visibility. They partnered with Ecolane, deploying Ecolane’s DRT scheduling and dispatching software, Touch Screen MDT, advanced reporting system, mobile app, SMS, IVR and self-service web booking tools.

Ecolane implemented continuous-optimization scheduling, real-time MDT arrival/departure info, automated web-based dispatching, point-and-click reporting, and customer-facing mobile/SMS/IVR features. As a result, Bis-Man Transit achieved 95% on-time performance, rides per hour increased from 3.4 to 3.88 (a 14% gain), and no-shows dropped by 5%.
