Ridwell scales nationwide recycling with EcoEnclose and 97%+ diversion

Ridwell, a company offering a doorstep recycling service, faced the challenge of expanding its impact to households outside its local pickup areas. They wanted to create a scalable, carbon-neutral mail-in recycling program that was convenient, transparent, and affordable. To achieve this, Ridwell partnered with the sustainable packaging vendor EcoEnclose to design and produce their custom Ridwell Mail-In Kits.

EcoEnclose designed and manufactured the complete mail-in kit system using recycled materials, which included prepaid return mailers and carbon-offset shipping. This solution allowed Ridwell to launch a national program. As a result, EcoEnclose now assembles and ships about 500 kits daily, reaching thousands of households across all 50 states and achieving a diversion rate of over 97% for hard-to-recycle materials.
