Le Club becomes the first swimwear brand to use seaweed packaging with EcoEnclose

Le Club, a Miami-based swimwear brand, faced the challenge of reducing its plastic footprint in alignment with its mission to protect the oceans. Partnering with packaging vendor EcoEnclose, the brand sought innovative and sustainable alternatives to conventional plastic packaging for its products.

EcoEnclose implemented a solution featuring a custom 100% recycled Kraft box paired with a compostable film window made from seaweed, developed by Sway. This made Le Club the first swimwear brand to adopt seaweed packaging. The result was a significant step away from plastic, supporting cleaner oceans, marine biodiversity, and climate health through a pioneering material. EcoEnclose facilitated this shift by offering packaging that incorporated Sway's innovative seaweed-based film.
