Workplace Solutions, a family-owned office furniture dealer that grew from a small used-furniture business into a multi-location operation, needed a Y2K-compliant, true multi-user system to replace disconnected software and manual processes. With ECi TeamDesign, they also wanted strong 20-20 Giza CAD/specification compatibility so they could handle larger, more complex jobs without adding staff.
ECi TeamDesign provided an integrated system for exporting Giza data, electronically submitting purchase orders, comparing acknowledgments with purchase orders, and managing invoices, inventory, and debit/credit memos. This cut proposal processing from two people working two days to about a half hour, helped Workplace Solutions avoid hiring additional staff, and enabled the company to scale its business efficiently while serving retail, contract, and stock furniture customers.
