MRS Machining is a family-owned precision job shop serving industries such as oil & gas, aerospace, medical and food service. Facing industry-wide challenges in finding and retaining skilled talent—and needing an ERP to manage a large government contract awarded in 1996—MRS Machining selected JobBOSS, the shop management and accounting system from ECI Software Solutions, and has used it for more than 20 years.

ECI Software Solutions’ JobBOSS provided integrated shop management and accounting, enabling MRS Machining to track finances and operations in one system and scale after their contract win. JobBOSS was also donated to a local vocational program (Cardinal Manufacturing), producing recruits already trained on the same ERP and equipment; the shop reports steady growth, a younger-than-average workforce (average age 31), and industry recognition as a 2017 Modern Machine Shop Top Shop in Human Resources. ECI Software Solutions’ solution directly supported hiring, training and operational efficiency at MRS Machining.
