Collaboration Brings New Tool to Xerox Dealership

Image Matters, Inc., a Knoxville-based Xerox dealer with 26 employees, 800 contracts and 4,000 machines in the field, was losing productivity to a cumbersome monthly PageConnect invoicing process. Office staff had to manually map serial numbers and contract numbers into e-automate (ECI Software Solutions’ ERP), turning a 200‑page invoice into days of data entry and costing the company thousands annually.

ECI Software Solutions collaborated with Xerox to build a Xerox AP Invoice Utility for e-automate that lets Image Matters import large vendor invoices by serial number with a simple copy‑and‑paste. The import now runs in the background (about an hour) and automatically creates AP invoices and populates equipment, contract, coverage and customer fields—eliminating days of manual work, improving accuracy and reclaiming significant productivity and cost savings for Image Matters.
