Design Ready Controls, a Minneapolis-based manufacturer of control panels and wiring harnesses, needed an ERP that was easy for new employees to learn and flexible enough for its engineers to customize. To address those challenges the company implemented M1 ERP from ECi Software Solutions.
ECi Software Solutions’ M1 ERP was rolled out across nearly every module at Design Ready Controls—about 225–250 employees use it daily (40 full licenses)—and it was customized to pull in the company’s proprietary APE and AME software for quoting and shop-floor instructions. The result was faster onboarding and smoother operations, seamless integration of bespoke tools, and support for rapid growth (from ~30 employees in 2006 to over 300) alongside sustained performance (roughly 15% average annual sales gains).
