A M1 Case Study
Symmetrix Composite Tooling, a digital fabricator serving industries from alternative energy to marine, faced a growing order book that required expanding capacity beyond its original Bristol, RI plant. QuickBooks could not provide the job costing, quoting, and scheduling visibility they needed to manage multiple sites and a larger workforce, so they selected M1 ERP to centralize and scale their operations.
Using M1, Symmetrix implemented a single M1 database with multi-plant features and replicated their original setup to two new facilities (Minden, NV and Statesville, NC), enabling the three plants in three states to be run as one. M1 delivered centralized information, real-time job-performance dashboards, cross-warehouse inventory visibility and easier supply-chain management, and directly enabled the company’s expansion to three sites, broader customer reach, and access to larger labor pools.
