RJ Young, a third-largest independently owned office equipment dealer with 19 offices across six states, needed a more efficient way to manage purchasing after migrating from ECi OMD to ECi e-automate. The company saw that e-automate had greater potential, but it still wanted to reduce the time and effort spent placing and maintaining purchase orders for equipment, parts, and supplies.

ECi e-automate’s PO Processor (POP) helped RJ Young automate ordering with vendors such as Ricoh, Canon, Supplies Network, Q2, and Clover. By using POP, RJ Young now processes about 60% of its roughly 500 weekly purchase orders through the tool, cutting ordering time from minutes to seconds and reducing manual work by eliminating the need to call, email, or visit vendor websites.
