Case Study: Gooru improves educational experiences with EchoUser UX research and design

A EchoUser Case Study

Preview of the Gooru Case Study

Gooru launches a new product version each year with EchoUser

The nonprofit Gooru sought to build a free, personalized learning platform for K-12 teachers and students but needed expert help to create top-notch user experiences for these two distinct groups. Partnering with the UX agency EchoUser under their full-service UX as a Service model, they embarked on a project to overhaul all their offerings from the ground up.

EchoUser began with deep discovery and research, establishing guiding principles and conducting workshops like a Design Jam with educators. They performed an expert review of the existing product, developed personas, and created iterative low-to-high fidelity wireframes. The solution involved extensive user testing to validate designs. EchoUser's work set the stage for Gooru to release a new version of their product annually and led to an ongoing partnership for further wireframing, testing, and visual design advancements.
