Video Technology Supports the Needs of the 21st-Century Workforce

Northampton Community College (NCC), a Pennsylvania community college serving more than 35,000 students, needed a reliable way to support active learning across a diverse student body. As its academic programs grew, NCC looked for an enterprise-wide video platform that could work with its Blackboard LMS, be easy for faculty to deploy, and serve as a repository for course videos and related content. In 2016, NCC selected Echo360 to meet those needs.

Echo360 implemented a campuswide academic video solution integrated with Blackboard, enabling faculty to quickly create, store, manage, and share learning content. The platform also supported student-recorded presentations, peer review, and hands-on learning in nursing simulations. With Echo360, NCC gained a flexible tool for teaching and learning that improved course delivery and expanded opportunities for collaboration and skills practice.
