A Echo360 Case Study
The University of Massachusetts Amherst wanted to make its classrooms more engaging, accessible, and flexible while helping instructors move beyond traditional lecture capture. Using Echo360 technology, the university built a “learning ecosystem” centered on active learning, remote participation, and better support for students and faculty.
Echo360 was implemented across 102 classrooms, with plans to reach 113, and is now used by more than 700 instructors across nearly 500 courses. The platform has enabled over 12,000 automatically scheduled recordings and supported more than 11,000 students, while also improving accessibility through closed captions, enabling live streaming and flipped classrooms, and helping classes continue during winter weather closures.
