A Echo360 Case Study
Unitec Institute of Technology, one of New Zealand’s largest polytechnic institutions, wanted to expand online learning and shift toward more collaborative, active teaching practices to stay competitive. The college turned to Echo360 and its active learning platform to support flipped classroom delivery, student engagement, and learning analytics across its vocational and practical programs.
With Echo360, Unitec implemented course capture, real-time learner analytics, and student engagement tools to record lectures, support flipped classes, and help instructors identify areas of confusion. The result was more interactive learning in and out of class, better support for staff and students, and measurable use cases across courses such as Marketing, Construction, Computing, and Performing and Screen Arts, with Echo360 also used to train students on other eLearning platforms.
