A Echo360 Case Study
The University of Adelaide used Echo360’s EchoVideo and broader Echosystem to move beyond simple lecture capture and create more interactive learning experiences. The university wanted to keep students engaged and improve attendance and understanding, especially as some students were relying on recordings instead of showing up to class.
Echo360 implemented active learning tools such as polling, Q&A, quizzes, and video support to help lecturers respond in real time and encourage participation. The results were strong: 84% of students said they accessed recordings weekly, one lecturer increased attendance from as low as 30% to 90% over a semester, and another reported a big improvement in exam results after addressing misconceptions through active learning.
